WEB NEW YORK -- Caitlin Clark, the record-breaking face of women's college basketball, has officially turned pro. The Indiana Fever selected Clark with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft on Monday night, making her the first freshman to be drafted first overall in league history.

Clark's selection comes eight days after she completed one of the greatest collegiate basketball careers ever recorded. The 6-foot guard became Division I's all-time leading scorer during her junior season at the University of Iowa, averaging an incredible 30.1 points per game.
