Ariane 6: A Heavy-Lift Rocket for Europe
The Ariane 6 is a heavy-lift rocket capable of carrying payloads weighing up to 103 tons into low Earth orbit. It is designed for reuse and will replace the Ariane 5 rocket which made its final flight in July 2023.
The inaugural flight of the Ariane 6 used the 56-meter-long 62 variant with two solid boosters. The rocket performed flawlessly during its flight and successfully delivered its payload into orbit.
